Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club boasts a sensational facility - two top quality playing surfaces - the Adrian Butler Oval and the Jubilee Park East Oval - and the magnificent Kevin Collopy Pavilion. The Butler Oval was reconstructed in 1991 just prior to the Frankston Cricket Club's first attempt to gain admission to the VCA. It has won the Award for the Best 1st & 2nd XI Ground on 7 occasions. The East Oval was reconstructed in 1999 and after spending the 1999~2000 Season playing home games at the R.M.Hooper Oval in Hastings, the ground was adjudged the Best of the 3rds & 4ths Grounds for the next 3 seasons.
The Collopy Pavilion was completed in mid-2002 and was officially opened on 27th October. It commands a brilliant view of Port Phillip Bay, at night the lights of the City and on playing days the ideal view of games being played on both grounds.

ADRIAN BUTLER OVAL Located in Jubilee Park in Frankston, the Adrian Butler Oval is one of the leading Premier Cricket Ovals in the State of Victoria. On eight occasions in the past decade, the Oval has been voted as the Best 1st & 2nd XI Oval in the competition. The Collopy Pavilion, completed in October 2002, complements the oval, providing Frankston Peninsula Members and supporters with State-of-the-Art facilities.
During the 2005~2006 season, the Club revamped its scoreboard - The Tim Gloury Scoreboard - to further enhance the facility. |
